As the COVID-19 pandemic sweeps across the globe, a new wave of corporate IT digital transformation has been indirectly facilitated. Cloud computing, distributed cloud, and multicloud have all become the standard equipment of modern IT architecture, while 5G, edge computing, and Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) are all ready to demonstrate their mighty power on the IT battle field. The 2021 corporate IT transformation battle for survival is on and getting red-hot.
Thanks to the support and enthusiasm of all participants iThome was able to effectively organize the iThome Cloud Edge Summit 2020 in Taiwan at September, with 2,058 people and 33 vendors in participation. The event, again, successfully established the largest technical exchange platform in Taiwan for cloud-based knowledge and technology, connecting various sectors in Taiwan to demonstrate their latest IT Cloud technology and implementation.
In 2021, we shall continue to move forward. We look forward to inviting pioneers from across various industries to collaborate again with iThome, and to share the latest and most practical Cloud Technology implementations to establish the “iThome Cloud Edge Summit 2021” for Taiwan.
The " iThome Cloud Edge Summit 2021" call for submissions has begun. We openly invites everyone with research, practical experience, application case studies and successful implementations in the technical fields of Cloud, Edge, AIOps, MLOps, AIoT, 5G and more, to submit your valuable experience and results. If you or your company has any suitable topics, please do not hesitate to become a member of Cloud Edge Summit, where you will be able to demonstrate your achievement to various sectors in Taiwan.

Call for Submissions and Topics

To fulfill the founding objective of creating a technical exchange platform in Taiwan for cloud-based knowledge and technology, the conference provides highly informative and exciting professional lectures. The materials of the lectures should aim to satisfy current corporate requirements and offer helpful and practical information for businesses. We will give priority to submissions with the following topics: futuristic outlooks, practical case studies, and previously unpublished lecture content.

No matters what your expertise is, including Cloud Computing、Cloud Native Computing、Container、Serverless、Kubernetes、OpenStack、Open Infrastructure、Hybrid Cloud Management、DevOps、DevSecOps、BizDevOps、Microservices、Cloud Security、Cloud & Data Engineering、Cloud & AI / Machine learning、Cloud & IoT、Edge Computing、Cloud & Blockchain、AIOps、PaaS / IaaS / SaaS / DBaaS and/or any other interesting practical experience, you are eligible for submission.

  • No Sales Pitch ! If you would like to be a speaker in a sponsored session, please let us know, and we will contact you right away.
  • Enlighten people for Action. Fully share your knowledge to the audience and bring them up. Your personal experiences, practices and unique opinion could influence people.

Background of the Audience

Cloud Edge Summit attendees consist of Cloud related staff members, IT personnel and directors, and Cloud engineers from industry, government, and academia.

Regulation

  • Originality is a high priority. Audiences would like to know more about your personal experiences, practices, and opinions.
  • Connect with the audience so that they may sense your passion and motivation naturally.
  • Please elaborate on the content of your submission in the form.
  • Make sure audiences recognize the need and value of your speech.
  • The event may use your photos, profiles and session introduction in promotional activities.
  • The event organizers reserve the right to adjust the agenda and time slots at any time.
  • You must have all legal rights for the content of your speech.
  • The event organizers will ask for your permission to make your video and slides public.
  • The content of your speech must not infringe on the intellectual property and privacy rights of others.
  • Please be sure to complete your submission on time. Submissions after the deadline will not be accepted.
  • Please provide your slides at least one week before the event. Marketing or advertisements of your organization or other financial interests will not be allowed during your speech. If you would like to be a speaker in a sponsored session, please let us know, and we will contact you right away.
  • Due to travel restrictions during the period of COVID-19 pandemic, foreign submitters who are approved to be the speakers and unable to come to Taiwan could provide the video presentation for instead. Considering the accuracy of the language and the acceptance of the audience, it is recommended that the video should be subtitled (Both Chinese and English are accepted).

Speaker Benefits

  • For foreign speakers, each approved submission will come with travel expense reimbursements up to USD. 1,000 per slot (tax included). Domestic speakers will be entitled to receive NTD. 6,000 per slot (tax included) for each approved submission. Foreign speakers who provide the video session will be entitled to receive USD. 200 per slot (tax included) for each approved submission.
  • The event organizers will ask for your permission to make your video and slides public.
  • If your submission was approved, the speaker room will be made available for you. Breakfast, lunch, and water will be provided to you there.
